I want to share my personal experience building a website called Footsy which I created for my client and earned over ₹45,000 from it. This project was truly one of my favorites because it showed how a simple idea can turn into something real and valuable.
When I got this project, the client wanted a clean and modern online store for footwear and sneakers with products, cart, checkout, wishlist, and user account pages — basically a complete e-commerce site. I chose to build the site using a WooCommerce Elementor Template Kit similar to kits offered by KitPapa, which helps create attractive and functional online shops without heavy coding.
During development, I customized the layout to match the client’s brand — adding collections like casual shoes, denim sneakers, ladies’ shoes, and best sellers, and polished product listings with images, prices, and buy buttons. I also added sections like About Us, Contact Us, and a simple blog to make the site feel more professional and trustworthy. The final result was a responsive and easy-to-use website that worked well on both mobile and desktop.
The client was happy because the site didn’t just look good — it started selling shoes soon after launch. I set up basic SEO and connected the shop with payments, which helped early sales. Within the first few months, I earned ₹45,000+ from this project — mainly the development fee plus some extra support and customization work.
Building Footsy was a great learning experience. I saw how selecting the right template, focusing on layout simplicity, and listening to the client’s needs can make a project successful — giving me both money and client satisfaction. I’m proud of this site and grateful for the opportunity!
