MY ROUTINE

Growth Post: Logistical Efficiency & Self-Discipline

Beyond Teaching: How I Optimized 7 Hours of Back-to-Back Tutoring Across Different Locations

My daily routine involves spending 5-6 hours tutoring students from classes 6 to 10. While the teaching itself is rewarding, the real challenge lies in the logistics: managing student needs, transitioning between grades, and traveling significant distances between appointments. This experience has become a masterclass in **efficiency, time management, and sustainable productivity**.

🚀 Core Skills Demonstrated Daily

  • Logistics & Time Management (Travel Optimization)
  • Adaptability (6th – 10th Grade Curriculum)
  • Self-Discipline & Habit Formation (Gym, Health, Learning, being creative)
  • Interpersonal Communication, patience and hardwork

🧭 The Challenge: Minimizing Transition Time, Priority to learn more and new things

The biggest time sink was the travel between students, which were often “very far from each other.” This fragmented my day and reduced my energy for both teaching and self-improvement.

My 3-Part Solution: The Efficiency System

  1. Route Optimization & Batching: Before the week starts, I use a simple map tool to plot the optimal route. Instead of simply booking the next available time, I batch appointments geographically to minimize dead time on the road.
  2. “Travel Prep” System: I leverage travel time for low-effort but high-value tasks. This includes listening to educational podcasts, mentally reviewing the next student’s weak points, or recording voice notes for the following day’s schedule. This ensures 100% productive time. Plan the next day what to tech student in more intersting way and asking question them what i teach them .
  3. Health as a Productivity Tool: My day begins with mandatory physical activity (gym) and is maintained with stretches and balanced eating. I treat my physical energy as a resource—by managing it, I sustain a 6-hour high-output schedule without burnout.

📈 The Impact: Freeing Up Time for Growth

By implementing this simple route and prep system, I estimate I have saved an average of 40 MIN per day in travel and transition time.

This freed-up time is now **intentionally invested** in my next professional goal. I dedicate a set block in the evening to “next-level learning” (e.g., Python, UI/UX, GRAPHIC DESIGNER etc.) instead of letting the day drain my capacity.

📚 My Next Growth Focus

My next step is formalizing my continuous learning. I am currently learning about Digital Workflow Automation to create standardized lesson materials, which will further reduce my prep time and increase the quality of my instruction. I aim to reduce my material prep time by 20% over the next month. Improving day by day to refine my skill in digital work and learning new thing to make my portfolio excellent to show my skill.

This post demonstrates my commitment to continuous process improvement and sustainable high-level performance.
