I recently built a beautiful and functional website at WordPress for my client who wanted an online organic soap store. This project was special to me because it helped the client show off their handcrafted, eco-friendly soaps online in a clean and modern way, and it expanded my skills in WordPress web design and eCommerce setup.
The Sudswell website is structured like a typical online store, featuring a Home page, Blog section, Shop, Cart, Checkout, Wishlist and Contact pages. It also includes useful elements like free shipping banners and promotional offers that make the site user friendly and attractive for customers. Visitors can browse product info and read blog posts about natural soap benefits and organic skincare topics like “Why Your Skin Loves Handmade Organic Soap” and “The Art of Handmade Suds” which I helped organize and style.
I used WordPress and WooCommerce to build this site because it offers great customization and easy management for clients. I chose a theme that fits a handcrafted product brand and configured it so my client can add, edit, or remove products without difficulty. Setting up pages like Shop and Checkout took careful planning — from placing product categories to ensuring the shopping cart works smoothly — and I tested everything before the final launch. Editing blog posts on skincare and organic ingredients also helped improve the site’s content engagement.
For this project, I charged ₹12,000, which covered design, layout customization, content setup, and site testing. It was a great experience because my client was happy with the results and the site now looks professional and works well on desktops and mobile devices.
