I want to share my honest experience building the Beevana website for my client using WordPress and Elementor. This site is an online store I created to showcase and sell various bee-related products, such as handcrafted beeswax candles and honey-based items like SweetBee products (like Acacia Honey, Beehive Honey Soap, Manuka Honey, etc.) which are listed on the site.
When my client first approached me, they had a basic idea — to create a clean, attractive online shop that would let customers easily browse and buy products. I helped them choose WordPress + Elementor because it’s flexible, easy to manage, and mobile-friendly — perfect for small e-commerce stores. I set up the product categories, created the shop pages, integrated shopping features, and optimized the layout so visitors could shop smoothly.
During the development, I learned so much about e-commerce workflows. I configured product pages like Bee Bliss Wax Candles and the SweetBee category, set prices, and added images, descriptions, and contact information. I also made sure the design reflected the brand’s natural, honey-themed vibe with clean typography and intuitive navigation.
My client was very happy with the final result. After launch, they started receiving inquiries and some product sales right away, which was a satisfying moment — seeing my design actually bringing customers to the store! I earned ₹8,745 from this project, which was paid once the website went live and fully functional.
